StudyIn

Mobile MVP College

StudyIn is a MVP developed during my college years. It was designed to centralize and simplify access to essential academic resources and information for students. It also provides a single platform where users can easily access features like personalized schedules, news, real-time grades and more.

With its intuitive design, StudyIn aims to streamline the academic experience, reducing the need to switch between multiple platforms and ensuring that students have everything they need at their fingertips.

Main problem

The primary issue identified during the interview process was the lack of a centralized app or website that organizes all essential academic information, such as grades, classes, and more.

Another significant issue was the slow speed of existing systems and the absence of a user-friendly, intuitive design, which made decision-making and the user experience difficult.

Therefore, StudyIn's main goal is to centralize all necessary student information into a single app that is intuitive and easy to navigate.

Research

0 Interviews conducted
0 Frustrations identified

During the research phase I conducted interviews with college friends to understand their experiences and challenges related to accessing academic information. The findings revealed that they all shared similar pain points.

Key frustrations identified

Struggles keeping track of grades across different platforms

Slow loading times of college's existing website

Important announcements buried in emails

Confusion over where to find course schedules

Lack of organization for tracking assignments

Outdated and difficult-to-navigate interfaces in the current system

Conclusion: There is a clear need for a centralized solution that can streamline the academic experience.

Persona

João is a disciplined student who values quick and organized access to academic content.

He is motivated to keep his grades up but often gets lost among the multiple platforms and systems needed to check grades, attendance, assignments, and other important college information.

Although he is tech-savvy, he feels frustrated with slow and unintuitive systems that complicate simple tasks.

Development

With all the insights gathered from the research and with the persona in mind, I developed an MVP for StudyIn designed to address the key challenges students face in their daily academic routine.

The solution focuses on simplifying access to essential information, improving organization, and enhancing overall communication between students and the institution. This initial version lays the foundation for a more intuitive, efficient, and student-centered experience.
